Valerie Adams

I,m been learning about Valerie Adams. I have been finding information about her on Google.
It was tricky to write it in my on words. I think Valerie is amazing at shot put. I watched Valerie on sky TV wining the silver medal.

Counting

I have been counting backwards from 20.

I know different ways to make 10.

matariki

We have been learning about Matariki.
Have you ever looked up at the night sky?
The Matariki stars name is the seven sisters.
It is a time to make friends and have fun with family.

I made a tuku tuku pattern I had to weave the string to make stairs to heaven. I used my perseverance muscle.

Sharing

I have been learning dividid (divided) by. Dividid by means sharing and it all has to be the same.
3 pepil (people) want to have some jellybeans. They want to have the same number of jellybeans. They share 12 jellybeans and they say it is not fair to have all of them. They have an idea, we will share 4 jelly beans together.

Bread writing

Do you have bread? good  but I can show you how to make bread

Step

1  Get wheat seeds

2 What (wait) for the wheat to grow for 10 days

Step

3 Cut the wheat and swish it  in little bits

Step

4 Pot (put) the wheat in the box and turn handle you will make some flour

Step

5  Make the flour into bread

Step

6 Put the bread in oven leave  it to bake.

When you get the bread out of the oven and leave the bread to cool down when the bread cools down and now you can EAT!  IT! Now you know how to make bread NOW!

I am proud of my writing because it has all of the steps I need.

I have been learning to work out the perimeter of a shape. I measured every side of the box then I tried to add them up I used my ruler to do jumps and add them up.
